Legality Section

 The Legal Department, like all other departments that make up the organizational and administrative structure of the educational institution, has specific duties under the law, and these duties are internal and external according to each incident.

 
The most prominent objectives of the Legal Department are as follows:
 
1. Providing legal protection for the government institution and defending it before the courts when a lawsuit is filed against it by others.
 
2. Representing the Deanship of the College before police stations, courts and judicial bodies in a manner that guarantees the rights of the institution and its duties.
 
3. Achieving justice among all members of the government institution.
 
The most important tasks and duties assigned to the Legal Department are summarized as follows:
 
1. Answering all letters related to legal affairs.
 
2. Participating in all investigative committees formed in the college or by the university presidency / Legal Affairs Department and preparing their minutes and submitting them to the university presidency and the ministry (in cases that require the approval of the university and the ministry).
 
3. Participation in the Student Discipline Committee formed in the college in accordance with the Student Discipline Instructions in Higher Education and Scientific Research Institutions No. (160) in (2007).
 
4. Approval of pledges and guarantees as well as contracts concluded by the Deanship of the College.
 
5. Statement of the legal opinion on matters referred by the Dean of the College and on various topics.
 
6. Follow-up on the legal effects of penalties issued against college members.
