Women Empowerment Unit
Given the importance of developing women's leadership in higher education in general and participating in the decision-making process and permanent and effective presence in committees and other important positions in society, the Women's Empowerment Unit was established in the College of Pharmacy, similar to the rest of the colleges affiliated with the University of Anbar and the rest of the Iraqi universities.
The mission of this unit is to enable women to participate effectively in achieving development and progress in a country that guarantees all their constitutional rights and makes them capable of dealing with challenges and enhancing their role in all medical and scientific fields and providing them with full protection and support from the economic and social aspect and providing them with opportunities (without any discrimination) to enable them to improve their capabilities to raise the status of the college with their other colleagues.
In addition, women acquire skills and knowledge and develop them to be effective and efficient community elements and leaders who participate in decision-making and influence its formulation and activation strategically in a way that meets the needs of the college and university in the current and future stages
