The College of Pharmacy Council Holds its Fourth Open Session for the 2025-2026 Academic Year

The College of Pharmacy Council held its fourth session – Part One – for the 2025-2026 academic year on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The session was chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Atheer Khalaf Zagheer, and attended by all esteemed members of the College Council.

At the beginning of the session, the Dean welcomed the members of the Council. The Council Chair then reviewed the most important directives and recommendations received from the University President, emphasizing the necessity of adhering to and implementing them.

The College Council discussed a number of important academic and administrative issues, including the following:

Monitoring the progress of the final examinations for the first semester for first-year students, ensuring their smooth and orderly conduct in accordance with the approved regulations.

Proceeding with the implementation of clean energy sources, particularly in the Deanship building, to ensure the continued efficiency of administrative operations.

Communication with counterpart colleges to prepare research project proposals for graduate students, emphasizing that the projects should be distinguished and reflect the advanced scientific level of the college's faculty.

Promoting scientific publication in Clarivate Analytics databases, which contributes to supporting the college's standing and improving its global ranking.

These directives come within the framework of the college's commitment to developing the academic process and enhancing the quality of scientific and administrative performance.
