The College of Pharmacy Council holds its fifth open session for the academic year 2025-2026

The College of Pharmacy Council held its fifth session (Part Two) for the 2025-2026 academic year on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 12:30 PM, chaired by the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Atheer Khalaf Zghair, and attended by the esteemed members of the College Council.
The Dean opened the session by welcoming the members of the Council. He then reviewed the most important directives and recommendations of the University President, emphasizing the necessity of adhering to them and working to implement them in order to contribute to the development of academic and administrative performance.
• Towards More Rigorous Education (Blueprint):
The Dean directed the adoption of an "examination blueprint" for each course for the first semester of the upcoming academic year. This blueprint ensures the fair distribution of questions and their alignment with the course content and actual class hours, aiming to enhance academic assessment mechanisms in accordance with international standards.
• Preparation for Final Exams:
The Council affirmed its complete readiness to administer the second semester exams, emphasizing the completion of all curricula according to the established plans.
• Support for Scientific Research:
The Council reviewed the performance indicators for the current academic year's research plan and stressed the importance of intensifying research efforts to enhance the college's scientific standing.
Based on the college's commitment to supporting its faculty, it was decided to open the college's laboratories throughout the summer break to enable faculty researchers to complete their scientific experiments and provide all necessary facilities to ensure the smooth flow of academic and research work.
• Supporting Academic Progress:
The Council discussed several student requests and faculty promotions, emphasizing its commitment to supporting academic staff and removing obstacles for students to contribute to their academic success.
