The College of Pharmacy Council Holds its Sixth Session for the 2024-2025 Academic Year

 

The College of Pharmacy Council held its sixth session for the 2024-2025 academic year on Tuesday, March 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM. The session was attended by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Atheer Khalaf Zgheir, and all esteemed College Council members.
At the beginning of the session, the esteemed Dean welcomed the Council members. The Chairman of the Council presented the most important directives and recommendations of the esteemed University President, emphasizing the need to adhere to and implement them.
The Council also discussed several topics on the agenda, including:
? The esteemed Dean discussed with the Council members the dates of the assessment exams for the College's students and the completion rates for these courses. He emphasized the need to complete the curricula within the specified timeframes to allow students an adequate period to take these exams.
? The College of Pharmacy's strategic plan for international accreditation was discussed. The Honorable Chairman of the Council explained the progress made on the plan's items. He emphasized the diligent follow-up to complete this plan within the specified timeframes to obtain international accreditation.
? The Council discussed the research plan and the progress made in publishing research during the current period. He emphasized the ongoing follow-up of completing and publishing research in reliable containers.
? The Council discussed several topics on the agenda, including promotion procedures for some faculty members at the college, as well as some issues related to academic and administrative affairs, and the Council took the necessary decisions.
