  The College of Pharmacy Council Holds its Eighth Session for the 2024-2025 Academic Year

The College of Pharmacy Council held its eighth session for the 2024-2025 academic year on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The session was chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Atheer Khalaf Zgheir, and attended by all esteemed College Council members.
At the beginning of the session, the esteemed Dean welcomed the Council members. The Chairman of the Council presented the most important directives and recommendations of the esteemed University President, emphasizing the need to adhere to and implement them.
The Council also discussed several topics on the agenda, including:
? The esteemed Dean discussed the final exams for the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year with Council members. The Chairman of the Council emphasized the need to prepare for the exams. The Head of the Examination Committee at the College was hosted, and the members of the Examination Committee were briefed on their preparations, most notably the preparation of examination halls and student distribution.
? The Honorable Dean discussed with the Council members preparations for the new academic year 2025-2026. The Honorable Dean emphasized that the branch heads should follow up on the most important needs of each laboratory, such as chemicals and laboratory equipment, to ensure they are ready to receive students.
? The Council Chairman discussed with the Council members the issue of the college's internationalization. The Council Chairman explained the most important goals achieved by the visit of a team from the Faculty of Pharmacy, headed by the Honorable Dean, to the University of Monastir in Tunisia, and the most important items agreed upon with the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Monastir, which serve to enhance scientific cooperation between the two universities.
? The Council discussed the research plan and the progress achieved in publishing research during the current period. The Honorable Council Chairman emphasized the ongoing follow-up of the completion and publication of research in reliable sources.
? The Council discussed several topics on the agenda, including the promotion of a number of college lecturers and the discussion of some issues related to academic and administrative affairs. The Council took the necessary decisions regarding them.
